Dear Lord Jesus,
Today I bring to You the brokenness I experience in my mind, will and emotions. I bring to You my wounded heart over my loss. I admit to You, Lord, that I am powerless of myself, over myself to change myself and deal with this. Only You can restore me to health, to wholeness, to peace.
Today I make the decision to surrender myself to you. O, Lord Jesus, I invite You to come into the woundedness within me and to heal me. I realize it may take a while, and I also realize that You may have much to teach me on this healing journey. But, Lord, let us begin together.
Dear Mother Mary,
I place my hand in yours. Lead me to your Son. I ask this in Jesus’ name.
