I know not how God moves,
but that God comes quickly,
into our struggles
into our pain
into the deepest joys —
if invited.

His immeasurable love
and endless mystery
masters our striving,
smiles on our progress,
enables our victory.

When all seems as lost,
God through Christ
upholds his children
in puzzling power,
lifting us even
over death.
