Here are some prayers for All Souls Day and the month of November, when we remember the Holy Souls in purgatory.
A Prayerful Remembrance
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
remembering the promise of the Resurrection,
I humbly and sincerely offer these prayers
for (name) and all the faithful departed.
I thank you for all that we shared
in this earthly life and I pray that my prayers
will help them on their journey to the fullness
of life and happiness with you in Heaven.
Purify them from all that is not holy
so they may dwell in the mystery of your perfect love forever.
With your grace and blessings,
I pray that I shall be reunited with them again in paradise.
Our Father … Hail Mary … Glory Be
May the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God rest in peace.
Amen

A Prayer for the Faithful Departed
God of love and compassion,
You look with tenderness on
Your beloved sons and daughters,
whom have been saved by the death
and Resurrection of Jesus.
We ask You to show that
same embracing compassion
and tender mercy to (NAMES)
whom you have called from this life.
May they enjoy the fullness of the risen life
with Jesus and all the saints,
bathed in your glory, light and tender mercy.
Amen

A Prayer for All Souls Day
Most tender Heart of Jesus
in your compassion and your love,
we entrust the souls of our beloved departed
who have gone before us in faith (Mention names).
We hope in your promise
that all who seek You will find eternal life,
a place of refreshment, light and peace forever and ever.
Amen

Prayer for the Holy Souls
(For all our departed brothers and sisters)
Merciful Father, hear out prayer and console us.
As we renew our faith in Your Son,
who You raised from the dead,
strengthen our hope that all our departed brothers
and sisters will share in His Resurrection,
who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.
Amen
