Man PrayingPraying for our friends and family members who are deceased should be part of our daily routine. The people we liked and the people we disliked — which might be a little harder at first, at least until you get used to it.

Pray for the humble but also pray for the haughty, and for the proud and the powerful because they usually need more prayers than most.

Keep a list on your nightstand, and every so often go through it. Add names as the Holy Spirit moves you, and you’ll be surprised to see how long the list gets so fast.

There’s one other benefit to this practice. You can be sure that the people you are praying for on the other side are also looking down at you and praying for you. And that’s not only a deal of a lifetime. It’s also a deal of an after-lifetime.
