“Let yourself be loved. Try and sit still for a moment and let yourself be loved by God. Try and silence all the noise within and rest for a few moments in His loving embrace. When He asks something of you, or simply presents you with one of life’s challenges, He hopes you will make room for Him so He can encourage you to grow. He does not mind if you share your doubts with Him. On the contrary, He is concerned when you do not talk to Him, when you do not communicate openly with Him. His love is so real, true and concrete that it invites us into a relationship of openness and fruitful dialogue. In short, seek the closeness of your heavenly Father in the loving countenances of His courageous witnesses on earth!
