Jenine Berardesca recently came upon a saying on Instagram that changed her approach to life … and she shared it with us.
“Walk into that room like God sent you there.”
For her these words were like a “spiritual aha moment” and gave her a new spiritual mindset of how she approaches people and life.
“It has been so helpful to me,” she says. “If I feel anxious, I tell myself God sent me here and there’s a reason. I shared it with several friends, and one woman said it was amazing the change it made in her life.”
Jenine uses it all the time — when she’s stuck in traffic, when she has a meeting, when she meets new people, in her business dealings, when she’s shopping, in her prayer, and when she’s “in frustrating situations.”
“Walk into that room like God sent you there.”
“It helps me remember that He does direct my path and that I have a reason to be there,” she says. “So if he wants me there, I might as well do something to his credit.”
She has even put those words on the home-screen of her phone so she sees them all the time.
“It is such a great reminder to me that wherever we are, He directs our path … and that there are no accidents.”
